Biography

Amanda graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor’s in Geology and a Humanities minor. She joined the lab in 2011 as a Post-Bachelor’s Research Associate. She is currently working as a Master’s intern while completing her Master’s degree in Natural Resources through Oregon State University. She hopes to complete her degree, along with a certificate in Sustainable Natural Resources, by fall of 2014. When not at the lab, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors with her three kids.

Research Interests

  • CO2 sequestration, specifically the effects of CO2 leaks on overlying groundwater reservoirs; shrub-steppe remediation.
