Ben Williams, scientist, spent his early years building a diverse work experience with well-drilling, GIS, single and 12-channel seismic, mining exploration, and environmental compliance, - all intermingled with 20 years in the construction industry. More recently, Ben has focused on field drilling operations, characterization and investigation of Hanford sediment, tank waste, and both vitreous and cementitious waste forms. This work has including saturated hydraulic conductivity, batch and column studies, Product Consistency Test (PCT), Single-Pass Flow Through (SPFT), and Pressurized Unsaturated Flow (PUF) reactions. Ben particularly enjoys the challenges of developing new experimental apparatus as experimental requirements evolve from one project to the next.
